Straight-Arm Inversion

Challenge

Starting Tuesday, September 1st

Pink Silk BG

What's really holding back your straight-arm inversions?

Straight-arm inversions are one of those dream skills that many aerialists strive for, but it can be hard to know exactly how to make it happen.

Improving your straight-arm inversion doesn't have to be complicated. You just need the right exercises and a dose of commitment!

Join Jill for this FREE 5-day challenge where you'll receive one focused exercise each day to help you build strength, control, and body awareness needed for a stronger straight-arm inversion!

The Challenge

Each day you'll receive:

  • One targeted exercise

  • A short video demonstration

  • Easy-to-follow technique tips

  • Suggested repetitions

These exercises focus on isolating important parts of the straight-arm inversion including shoulder positioning, shoulder strength, core control, and compression.

No rig required!

The entire challenge can be completed from home! All you need is pair of weights. We recommend a pair of 5–8 lb (about 2–4 kg) weights. If you find you're struggling, choose a lighter weight so you can maintain good form.

No weights? No problem! Water bottles or other household items can work too.

Is this right for me?

This challenge is perfect for you if...

  • You can invert with bent arms and want to unlock your straight-arm inversion!

  • You're not sure which part of your straight-arm inversion is holding you back

  • You want simple but effective exercises you can do at home between aerial classes

  • You're ready to train more intentionally instead of simply attempting the skill over and over

  • You can commit a few focused minutes each day to making progress

You do not need to already have a straight-arm inversion to join!

Five days. Five exercises. One step closer.

You likely won't achieve your full straight-arm inversion in just five days. Complex skills require time and dedication to build up to. But you will leave with a better understanding of what the skill requires and what you can start working on right now.

Ready to get stronger and move one step closer to your straight-arm inversion?
