Jill Franklin & Nafeesa Islam have been friends and training together for over a decade. This year, they set out to create something special: a synchronized aerial act that celebrates their friendship and shared love of this craft.

After months of trial, error and giggles, they shaped their act to The Curse by Agnes Obel. What began with the song and a blank aerial canvas evolved into seven months of dedicated rehearsals, refining and editing until every detail felt right. Their goal? To look so alike it was almost eerie - from the synchronicity of their lines to even matching hair and eye color.

The result is a beautifully haunting and compelling duet: a celebration of music, the synchronicity of movement and the spellbinding hold that aerial continues to have on them.
