WHAT'S INSIDE THE COURSE?
MODULE 1 - HANDSTAND ASSESSMENT
This module is all about the ingredients YOU need to achieve your press handstand. Included is a press handstand assessment along with a guided workout to help you discover the areas you need to focus on throughout the course. In addition, you'll learn tips for practicing handstands safely.
MODULE 2 - CORE STABILITY
Having a strong core to support your handstand is an important element to success! While it's not the only ingredient in your press, it will help to support your spine and stabilize your body when balancing. Included in this module is a core workout to warm-up for your handstands, a Press Handstand lesson and a bonus Tuck Handstand lesson.
MODULE 3 - FLEXIBILITY
When it comes to handstands flexibility plays quite a large role, especially active flexibility. Your legs and shoulders need to be very mobile yet strong. This module addresses all of the areas where bendiness is required in your press handstand and gives you exercises to get you there!
MODULE 4 - SHOULDER STRENGTH
Shoulder strength is one of the most important ingredients in your press handstand. Without it, you won't have a strong foundation for your body to balance from. In this lesson, we're going to set you up for press success by stabilizing, strengthening and stretching your shoulders.
MODULE 5 - BALANCE
When it comes to handstands BALANCE is the name of the game. To effortlessly balance in the middle of the room is such an alluring yet oh so rewarding achievement! This module will provide you tips and tricks to get there (plus some oh so good wrist mobility exercises!).
MODULE 6 - FULL PRESS HANDSTAND
It's time for lift off! In this module you'll be guided through a maintenance workout you can do anytime to warm-up for your handstand practice. In addition, Hayley will be walking you through step-by-step how to nail your press handstand away from the wall!
